🌸Coming Home to Yourself

Confidence doesn’t always have to be broadcasted out loud to everyone that you know what you’re doing. Confidence doesn’t always have a plan either. Sometimes, Queen, confidence is subtle. It’s hearing your voice over everyone else’s. It’s picking yourself when others may not understand your decisions, your speed or you’re healing. EVEN if it’s uncomfortable. We are stepping into that type of confidence this week. The type of confidence you gain when you stop questioning yourself and just learn to trust yourself, perioddddddd.

1. What does confidence really mean in this season of life?

Queen this season, confidence isn’t about proving yourself to anybody. It’s showing up as YOU show up, even when you’re still working it out. It’s knowing that you don’t have to justify your healing or your boundaries or you’re timing to anyone. Confidence like that is grounded. It allows you to stand ten toes down in your truth without shrinking back, even when the world is trying to hurry you. It’s choosing alignment instead of approval EVERY TIME.

2. Why do so many women struggle with self-trust?

Many of us Queen learned at a young age to doubt ourselves. At some point we began conditioning ourselves to hear what everyone else had to say. Parents, partners, bosses, society we listened to everyone before us. The more you go without tuning into your intuition the farther away from it you get. It’s not like your instinct left you but you let it hibernate. Your capacity to trust yourself was never lost it just became silent. Trusting yourself again begins when you pause and listen. Your intuition has had your back since day one.

3. How do I start rebuilding trust with myself?

You earn trust with yourself, Queen, by making small promises you know you can keep… and then KEEPING THEM. It means saying no when your body knows it needs rest. Opting for peace over people-pleasing. Standing firm in your words mattered to you even when nobody is there to validate you did. Each time you choose to show up for yourself you’re whispering: I trust me. Confidence begins there.

4. What role does self-care play in confidence?

Self-care queen isn’t always bubble baths and Netflix nights. Sometimes self-care is the words you say to yourself. Sometimes self-care is guarding your energy and putting yourself first guilt-free. Self-care is showing yourself up. When you take a break to truly care for your body and mind you’re sending yourself a message loud and clear, I matter. The more you practice picking yourself — even in the small daily moments — the more you grow your confidence.

5. How do I trust myself after making past mistakes?

Your mistakes don’t make you disqualified from being Queen—they make you a Queen. You don’t build self-trust by being ‘good’ you build it by knowing that no matter what you will always have your own back. You fall down, things don’t work out how you wanted them to, and you pick yourself back up with more knowledge and elegance than you had before. Trusting yourself doesn’t come from being perfect it comes from trusting that you will always be able to rise again. You don’t need a perfect history to love yourself, you just need patience, compassion and forgiveness for the person you’re growing into.

6. What does it look like to choose myself without guilt?

Choosing Yourself Guilt Free Warrior Edition by Rachel Hollis screams like you are releasing yourself from having it all together for everyone else. Discovering that putting yourself first isn’t selfish. It’s how you take care of yourself if you want to stay together at all. When you start feeling guilty, repeat after me. Rest, boundaries, and peace are not privileges. They are necessities. And you can set boundaries with your energy and still be a kind loving woman.

7. What affirmation can I carry this week?

“I believe in myself, I listen to my heart. I walk through life quietly, strongly and with dignity.”

May this be your daily reminder that confidence isn’t always loud AF. Sometimes it’s subtle. Your delicacy is powerful. Your instincts are smart. And your healing, Queen, shows you are transforming into the woman you were always meant to be.

🌸 SHEspiration Reflection

Queen, confidence isn’t something you push down your throat.
confidence isn’t something you force. it’s something you remember.
it lives in those silent moments when you choose to listen to yourself over everything else screaming around you. it grows when you prioritize your needs. when you trust your gut. when you choose yourself – without apology.

Learning to trust yourself takes time. you will spend years rebuilding trust – with every promise you keep to yourself, with every time you sleep without feeling guilt, with every time you speak your truth despite your voice trembling. confidence isn’t asking you to shout louder, queen. confidence is asking you to be you.

today, give yourself permission to trust your feelings. you don’t need anybody’s approval to trust yourself. Your gut instincts have brought you this far for a reason. you get to go at your own speed. you get to guard your peace. and you get to trust yourself, even if you don’t know what the future holds.

Queen, coming back to you is confidence at it’s finest. and you’re already doing it.
